I don’t usually add a post for just one photo but yesterday in Fish Creek Park we (meaning the group leaders) saw a Northern Parula. It was bopping around in a tree so quickly that I honestly couldn’t see it properly. Still, I aimed my camera as best I could and pressed the button. There were a lot of Nuthatches and Chickadees also zooming around us, so I wasn’t sure what I had until I saw it on the computer. So, probably more due to luck than skill, here is an image of the Northern Parula. It turns out that this little bird is a long way from its normal territory . I bet there’s a story there that we will never know!
